Study program for all DD students
The study program comprises 4 semesters. Students study the first two semesters (or Master 1, Bac + 4) at the respective home institution and the last two semesters (or Master 2, Bac +5) at the respective host university. During their stay at the host university, students remain enrolled at their home institution. The credits earned in accordance with the double degree program are recognized as equivalent by both institutions. The study and examination regulations for the Bamberg Master's degree program apply to the provision and recognition of credits at the University of Bamberg. The examination regulations of the Gdansk University of Technology apply to the provision and recognition of credits at the Gdansk University of Technology. The course of study is largely determined by the students themselves through their choice of specializations. The following tables provide information on the distribution of coursework between the two universities.
The detailed course of study depends primarily on where the program is started. The following overview is intended to provide planning and orientation. In individual cases, however, the course of study may differ slightly. Students of the double degree must always conclude an individual credit transfer agreement with the program coordinators at both universities, which is based on the current status of the regulations of the degree programs involved.
