Transfer - the faculty's public relations

Transfer refers to the university's active involvement in communal transformation and innovation processes, which, through collaboration with society, culture, politics, and the economy, aim to create a sustainable future in peace, democracy and prosperity. Moreover, transfer strives to promote the general access to scientific knowledge and to improve the public's trust in science.

For that purpose, research findings from the faculty's numerous subject fields are regularly made available to the broader public in the context of talks or readings, colloquia, lecture series, poster and internet presentations, and also in the form of exhibits within or outside of Bamberg which are often prepared and executed in the framework of academic courses. For the successful implementation of our projects, a close collaboration with cultural institutions and event organizers in Bamberg is crucial.
